Low Voltage Estimator

Position Overview
The Low Voltage Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for low voltage projects in the multifamily and commercial sectors. This role requires a detailed understanding of low voltage systems, including voice/data, video surveillance, and fire alarm systems, to ensure competitive and profitable proposals are developed.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed estimates for low voltage projects including voice/data, video surveillance, and fire alarm systems.
Perform takeoffs from project plans and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
Develop and submit proposals to clients that are clear, concise, and competitive.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project requirements and specifications.
Analyze project costs and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Estimator in the low voltage industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage applications.
Experience in multifamily and commercial estimating preferred.
Proficiency in performing takeoffs and preparing estimates for low voltage projects.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
