Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team, specializing in commercial and multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for electrical installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to all NEC codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems and components for commercial and multifamily projects.
Utilize estimation software such as Accubid to generate accurate pricing.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NEC codes and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Participate in bid meetings and present estimates to clients and stakeholders.
Analyze subcontractor proposals and quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in commercial and multifamily construction projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in estimation software, particularly Accubid, and MS Office suite.
Familiarity with Bluebeam for project documentation and review.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
