Position Overview
The Traveling Superintendent will oversee construction projects across various locations, primarily focusing on grocery store and big box retail developments. This role involves managing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while traveling as necessary to different site locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to provide updates and address any issues that arise.
Prepare daily reports and documentation for project progress and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on grocery stores and big box retail projects preferred.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to travel frequently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
