Position: Superintendent - Industrial or Commercial Exp Required

 

Overview: The Superintendent will be working on Ground Up Commercial or Industrial Projects & will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Ground Up or TI projects, as well as a strong background in the role of Superintendent in Commercial construction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects in the Industrial & Commercial sector. 
  • Communicate and coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other team members.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and track project progress and provide regular updates to the project team.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
  • Manage and supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors and other construction workers.
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to project specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on variety of projects.
  • Prior experience as a Superintendent on Commercial construction projects is required.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of project management software and tools.
