Position Overview:

We are a growing firm local to Lubbock that is opening the team up to you! If you are a tax professional with experience in the public accounting space or have experience consulting businesses for their financial and tax needs, we would love to see your info. Our client base is growing, and is large enough to command expertise in multiple industry categories. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file taxes for individuals and businesses
Process payroll accurately and timely
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Prepare financial statements and reports
Support the finance team in various accounting projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification or eligible
2+ years of experience as an Accountant in a public accounting firm
Experience with payroll processing and compliance
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
