Title - Sr. Project Architect
Location - Charlotte (hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Compensation - 100-120K base + bonuses
Position Overview
The Sr. Project Architect will lead the design and execution of architectural projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest quality standards while adhering to the project timeline and budget. This role requires a strong background in design and construction administration, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design process for multiple projects.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and objectives, providing creative and functional design solutions.
- Oversee the construction administration phase, ensuring that the project is constructed according to the design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project success.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
- Mentor junior architects and design staff, providing guidance on best practices in design and construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Registered Architect (RA) license preferred.
- Experience in various building types, including commercial and residential projects.
