We are an Engineering and Construction company, offering design, management and consulting within the Industrial Power and Utilities space. Our team has been around for 30+ years, and continuing to grow. We are now looking to add another Sr Mechanical Engineer to the mixture.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for our projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering principles, particularly in power systems and piping design. This role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering solutions, contributing to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and analysis of mechanical systems and components, with an emphasis on power and piping systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that meet project requirements.
Conduct detailed hydraulic modeling and structural analysis to ensure the integrity and reliability of systems.
Utilize engineering software tools such as CAESAR, AutoPIPE, and RISA for system analysis and design.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and clients.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.
Participate in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of engineering tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in power and piping systems design.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling and experience with software tools like CAESAR, AutoPIPE, and PipeFlo.
Familiarity with CAD software and project management tools such as Bluebeam and Revu.
Experience in HVAC systems design and energy plant distribution is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
