Senior Backend Engineer

Hybrid in Downtown Tampa FL (near Hyde Park)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, as well as maintain and improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services that scale efficiently.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance functionality and performance.
Implement security and data protection measures in backend applications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to innovate and improve product offerings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on .NET and C#.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS.
Proficiency in Python and Golang programming languages would be a bonus
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
