Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in heavy civil construction to oversee and manage large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, project management, and civil works, with a focus on deep foundations, bridges, and roadway construction. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with estimators to prepare accurate project budgets and financial forecasts.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector.
Proven experience in managing projects related to deep foundations, bridges, highways, and roadway construction.
Strong knowledge of civil works, heavy construction practices, and concrete work.
Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress and performance.
