Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Heavy Civil Contractor 
Job Location: Portland, OR 
Salary: Competitive Pay $100,00 - $150,000 DOE, Benefits, Bonus  
Requirements: 5+ Years Experience as a Construction Project Manager 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in heavy civil construction to oversee and manage large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating, project management, and civil works, with a focus on deep foundations, bridges, and roadway construction. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with estimators to prepare accurate project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation (DOT).
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector.
  • Proven experience in managing projects related to deep foundations, bridges, highways, and roadway construction.
  • Strong knowledge of civil works, heavy construction practices, and concrete work.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress and performance.
