Position Overview
The Senior Drywall Estimator is responsible for accurately estimating costs and project timelines for drywall installation projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of drywall systems, pricing strategies, and the ability to collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall projects based on project specifications and drawings.
Analyze project plans and specifications to identify cost-effective solutions and potential risks.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Utilize estimation software tools such as On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Review and assess subcontractor bids to ensure competitiveness and completeness.
Provide support during project bidding and assist in the negotiation process with clients and vendors.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and pricing to ensure competitive estimates.
Prepare and present detailed bids and proposals to clients, highlighting key project features and benefits.

Qualifications

10+ years commercial drywall estimating experience
Proficiency with On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid required
Experience with commercial drywall, exterior framing, stucco, etc.
Experience with multifamily, hospitality, high rises, condos & assisted living facilities preferred
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
