Job Title: Senior Associate
Location: Los Angeles, CA Hybrid
Salary: $290k-$310k
Requirements: 7+ years experience with Employment, Labor & Workforce Management. Admission to the California Bar.


Position Overview:

We are a leading national law firm focused on employment, labor, and workforce management, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing employers in employment law matters and advising on compliance with workforce regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice and counseling to clients on a wide range of employment, labor, and workforce management issues.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies for complex labor and employment matters
  • Collaborate with other partners and attorneys to ensure the success of client cases
  • Lead and manage a team of attorneys and legal professionals in the Employment, Labor & Workforce Management practice
  • Represent Employers before federal and state agencies, such as the EEOC and NLRB.
  • Advise clients on employment policies, employee handbooks, and compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII)
  • Stay updated on current employment and labor laws and regulations
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, as well as develop new business opportunities
  • Participate in business development activities and initiatives to promote the firm's services

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active member of the state bar association and in good standing
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience practicing employment law, labor relations, and/or workforce management (ELWM)
  • Experience with Trade Secret, Fraud, Breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of commercia leases, breach of partnership agreements, shareholder disputes, unfair competition, trade secret and restrictive covenant, as well as soft IP litigation in trademark and copyright.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of attorneys
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Client-focused with a strong business acumen
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
