Safety Engineer

Location: Glendale, KY

Position Overview
The Safety Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment within the manufacturing sector, focusing on electric vehicle and battery production. The engineer will assess and mitigate risks, develop safety protocols, and contribute to the overall safety culture of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards in the manufacturing process.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices related to electric vehicle and battery production.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on safety performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety engineering, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to electric vehicles and battery production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
