Position Overview
The Refrigeration Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations of the refrigeration department. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction while achieving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead the refrigeration service team, providing guidance and support to technicians.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, including EPA certifications.
Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to optimize efficiency.
Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Maintain strong customer relationships and address any service-related concerns promptly.
Assist in the training and development of technicians in line with best practices and new technology.
Manage inventory and procurement of parts and equipment needed for service operations.
Prepare and manage budgets for the refrigeration service department.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the refrigeration industry.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and technologies, including ThermoKing and Carrier.
EPA 608 and EPA 609 certifications are required.
Experience with APU repair and reefer maintenance.
Familiarity with Karmak software for service management.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
Technical certification in refrigeration or HVAC is preferred.
