QA/QC Inspector

Position Overview
The QA/QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all roofing projects adhere to quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves performing inspections, conducting tests, and documenting findings to maintain high quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of roofing installations to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Perform quality control tests to assess the integrity and performance of roofing materials and systems.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare reports on compliance and non-conformance issues.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to roofing and quality control.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and policies.
  • Participate in audits and inspections to ensure adherence to ISO standards and company policies.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control practices and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector, preferably in the roofing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and methods for roofing systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and root cause analysis effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams.
  • Nice to have: experience with glazing techniques and materials.
