Since 1952, we have specialized in building, renovating, and expanding water and wastewater treatment, biosolids management, and waste-to-energy facilities in the Western U.S. We have completed numerous projects for public, private, and federal sectors, focusing on collaborative delivery methods like design-build and construction manager-at-risk. Our projects range from emergency repairs to large-scale constructions over $200 million, with over 70% of the work self-performed in areas like pipefitting, mechanical, structural, concrete, and earthwork.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects in the construction of heavy civil infrastructure, specifically in the areas of water and wastewater management. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion in the heavy civil sector.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, implementing changes as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess project status and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status to upper management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy/civil construction industry.
  • Proven experience with water/wastewater construction in facilities like treatment plants, booster stations, lift stations, wells, and/or storage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are preferred but not required.
