Plastics Technician - Night Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plastics Technician to join our team on the night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, ensuring quality control, and optimizing production processes in our plastics manufacturing environment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality plastic products.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor injection molding machines during the night shift
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on molding equipment
Conduct quality inspections of products to ensure they meet specifications
Adjust machine settings and parameters to optimize production efficiency
Assist in the setup and changeover of molds as needed
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred
Proven experience in plastics manufacturing and injection molding
Familiarity with mold setup, operation, and maintenance
Understanding of quality control processes in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work night shifts
