Personal Injury Attorney

Location: Washington, DC

License: Active Washington, DC Bar membership

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have experience handling personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims. This role requires strong litigation skills, client advocacy, and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle personal injury litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
  • Conduct depositions, court hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and interview witnesses.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates.
  • Ensure compliance with DC court procedures and filing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong trial preparation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in case management software.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.
