Mechanical Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for custom machine builds, adhering to industry standards and ensuring the highest quality throughout the cradle to grave process.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for custom machine builds.
Collaborate with the build team to ensure accurate tooling design and fixture parts creation.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
Conduct precise measurements and evaluations of mechanical systems and components.
Work closely with electrical and hydraulic components to integrate fluid power designs effectively.
Lead projects as a technical lead and provide guidance to the build team.
Implement industry standards and best practices throughout the design process.
Manage project timelines and ensure successful project completion.
Foster a growth-oriented environment by mentoring junior designers and team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and custom machine builds.
Proficiency in CAD software and design tools.
Experience with tooling design, fixture parts, and packaging.
Familiarity with electrical and hydraulic components, including pumps, motors, and flow meters.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and projects effectively.
