Founded in the 1940s we are a 500 employee converter of custom corrugated products & protective packaging with multiple facilities across the Northeast. We have increased our headcount by 15% over the past 2 years as we continue to gain market share in the space. We provide everything from custom packaging design to testing & analysis to storage hub services for our clients across the US. For our location in Marlborough which is a 100 employee union facility, we are tasking the Maintenance Manager with rebuilding our maintenance department from the ground up treating this opportunity as your own business of sorts. You will have 8-12 direct reports and if you've got a good understanding of union culture you will have a leg up on building something great and becoming a key asset within the organization.

What You Will Be Doing

Lead maintenance team to ensure minimal equipment downtime and high operational efficiency.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs and SOPs.
Manage contractor/vendor relationships, negotiate services and supply agreements.
Oversee spare parts inventory and manage departmental budgets and capital planning.
Identify and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles.

What's In It for You

10+ years in manufacturing maintenance, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience rebuilding or restructuring a maintenance department.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills; CAD experience is a plus.
Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficient in MS Office; background in the corrugated industry is a bonus.
