Established Labor & Employment Law Firm Seeking Litigation Paralegal in Albany, NY
An established law firm with over 30 years of experience representing public and private employers in labor, employment, and education law is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Albany, NY office. This position supports attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case management, document drafting, discovery coordination, and hearing/trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of complex files in a fast-paced legal environment.
Offer:
$65,000 - $85,000 annual base salary depending on experience

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR paralegal certificate
3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment or civil litigation
Proficiency in legal research platforms and litigation software, including e-filing systems
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong writing, communication, and time management skills; familiarity with federal and New York state court procedures
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with case development, including investigation, document review, and summarization of discovery
Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas with courts and administrative agencies
Coordinate discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and managing document productions
Maintain case calendars, track deadlines, and assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel in a professional and confidential manner
