Position Overview
The Environmental Manager will oversee and implement environmental policies and programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This role is critical in managing air quality, emissions monitoring, and waste regulation efforts to promote sustainability and minimize environmental impact within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management strategies and plans to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and analyze air quality and emissions data to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and submit reports on environmental performance and compliance to regulatory agencies.
- Coordinate and conduct environmental training for staff to promote awareness and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business operations.
- Manage waste regulation processes and ensure proper disposal and recycling practices.
- Stay updated on environmental laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science / Management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of environmental regulatory experience.
- Strong knowledge of air quality regulations and emission monitoring techniques.
- Strong knowledge of hazardous waste and water compliance.
- Prior experience at a plant preferred.
