Title: Environmental Associate Attorney
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (Hybrid)
Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 + Bonus

Year 1 OTE: $160,000 / Year 2 OTE: $160,000 - $200,000

Founded in 1975 we are a 70 employee business law & litigation firm that has grown 15% in the past 2 years as a result of company success & expanded industry servicing. We provide our legal services to a variety of industries including environmental/energy law, healthcare, employment/labor, estates & trusts, oil & gas, renewable energy and insurance coverage. We're targeting to hire an Environmental Associate Attorney with a few years of exposure to environmental law to help grow our division.

Our Target Candidate's Abilities

Providing legal support & counsel on variety of environmental matters incl: regulatory compliance, litigation, investigations, enforcement actions & transactional due diligence
Counsel & representation to clients on environmental law matters
Conduct legal research & analysis to support client cases / initiatives
Draft legal documents incl: pleadings, motions & brief
Participate in negotiations, depositions & settlement discussions

What You Need for this Position

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited university
3+ years of environmental legal experience
Experience in regulatory compliance, environmental litigation, government investigations, enforcement actions & transactional due diligence is ideal
Licensure in Pennsylvania
Knowledge of Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and/or RCRA matters & associated regulations
Strong legal research & analytical skills
