Key Responsibilities:

Develop precise cost estimates for commercial electrical installations and oversee projects from start to finish.
Assume complete responsibility for projects, improving cost-estimation techniques to reduce discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
Communicate with clients to gather project requirements, including pricing, invoicing, and management tasks.
Examine blueprints to determine the best wire lengths and outlet placements, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
Investigate market prices to provide accurate estimates for materials and fixtures needed for electrical projects.
Verify subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure the accuracy of project cost estimates.
Assess the potential profitability of electrical projects to inform bidding decisions.
Create and submit competitive project bids in accordance with established guidelines.
Oversee awarded projects and support project management activities when not engaged in estimating tasks.

Qualifications:

Ideally, 3 years of experience in estimating.
Skilled in accurately interpreting blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to price jobs quickly and efficiently.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using software such as McCormick, Bluebeam, and Trimble.
