Controls Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to enhance manufacturing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI development, and control system design, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for manufacturing processes
Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production efficiency
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality
Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems
Maintain documentation related to control system design and modifications
Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to control engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, especially with Allen Bradley (RSLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
Experience with Siemens control systems
Knowledge in Visual Studio and VB programming
Understanding of NEC and CAD principles as applied to control systems
