Position Overview
We're seeking a proactive and strategic Controller to drive financial excellence within our growing business. This role plays a key part in shaping the financial health of our organization, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining strong internal controls.

As the Controller, you'll collaborate with leadership to enhance operational efficiency, optimize ERP utilization, and implement data-driven financial strategies that support growth and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process and financial forecasts for the manufacturing division.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure the financial health of the manufacturing operations.
  • Supervise the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems for accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
  • Utilize financial software, including Sage 100 and Power BI, for reporting and analytics.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience with cost control measures and internal controls.
  • Proficient in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems and financial software such as Sage 100.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, tax preparation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
