Job Title: Civil Litigation Paralegal - Trust and Probate
Location: Solana Beach, CA - relocation offered!
Compensation: $60K - $100K+ DOE
Requirement: 2+ years of experience as a Civil Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on estate planning, trust administration, and probate.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal specializing in Trust and Probate matters to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in the preparation and management of litigation cases, focusing on estate planning, trust administration, and probate processes. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings and trials related to trust and probate cases.
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes to support litigation efforts.
  • Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  • Prepare trial binders and exhibits for court proceedings.
  • File documents with the court and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in legal studies or paralegal studies.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on civil litigation, trust administration, and probate.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning and probate laws.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
