We are a commercial and multifamily general contractor that has been serving the Carolinas and surrounding areas since the 70's. As a known leader in the subcontracting community, we pride ourselves on providing opportunities to a diverse group of subcontractors and partners. This was evidenced most recently by being named "General Contractor of the Year" by the local Minority Contractors Association, in conjunction with the North Carolina Subcontractors Alliance.
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with investors, subcontractors and key members in the community in the company's market. You will be identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and business development roles, as well as an interest in learning the real estate and construction sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor activity.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials.
Utilize CRM tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company.
Management of a LONG sales cycle, and developing relationship over the long-term.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven experience in business development or sales.
Strong understanding of CRM systems and their application in sales processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
