Attorney - Mass Tort

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Attorney specializing in Mass Tort cases to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, with a focus on managing complex cases and coordinating settlements for clients. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure legal compliance and effectively manage client disbursements while utilizing legal and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee mass tort litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Coordinate and negotiate settlements with opposing parties, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and standards throughout the litigation process.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and client correspondence.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to build strong case strategies.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and settlement options.
  • Utilize legal software for case management and documentation, as well as accounting software for managing client disbursements.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on mass tort cases preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of legal compliance and regulations related to mass tort litigation.
  • Proficiency in legal and accounting software.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
