3D CAD Technician (Civil)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled 3D CAD Technician with a strong background in civil engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings to support civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for civil engineering projects.
Collaborate with civil engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Ensure all designs are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Review and modify existing CAD drawings as needed to improve accuracy or incorporate changes.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports related to the design and development process.
Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create high-quality models and renderings.
Participate in project meetings to provide technical support and updates on design progress.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CAD Technician in the civil engineering field.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD.
Understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
Experience with 3D modeling and design techniques.
Knowledge of structural engineering concepts is a plus.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively.
