Title: Superintendent (Multifamily, Garden Style, Midrise, Highrise)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Superintendent with extensive experience in Multifamily ground up projects. This will include building and leading projects on apartments including Garden, Midrise, Highrise Styles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of work on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including but not limited to masonry, panel walls, precast installation, and restoration work.
2. Manage and schedule subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project timelines and specifications.
3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to interpret project plans and specifications.
5. Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
6. Monitor material inventory and coordinate deliveries to maintain project schedule.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
9. Prepare and submit progress reports, including daily logs, photos, and documentation.
10. Train and mentor junior staff members to promote skill development and growth within the team.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Multifamily construction, with a focus ground up projects using Garden, Midrise, and High rise styles.
2. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in Apartments, Condos, and Student Living, and other forms of Multifamily construction.
3. Extensive knowledge of Ground Up and TI construction techniques.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
7. Familiarity with construction software and tools for scheduling, reporting, and project management.
8. OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training.
9. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
