The responsibility of the quality assurance manager is to guarantee that all manufactured goods are delivered to clients in a safe, timely, and high-quality manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the department of quality
- Selects, develops, and mentors competent staff
- Create and maintain manuals, policies, and procedures pertaining to ISO in particular and quality processes in general
- Oversees certifications for quality systems
- It is essential to have experience handling ISO 9000 certification; ISO 45001 certification experience is highly desired
- Provides product and service quality leadership through the use of Six Sigma and TQM
- Monitors all employees' adherence to policies that impact quality. Oversees the process of resolving complaints. Works with all divisions to coordinate operations and projects, promoting efficient corrective and preventative measures to assist our clients, both internal and external
- Oversees the metrics for plant quality and assists the manager of corporate quality assurance with reporting and high-quality projects
- Recognizes trends, keeps track of important drivers, and comprehends statistical analysis
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of seven years of solid experience in quality management, as well as strong analytical, verbal, and writing communication abilities, as well as organizational abilities
- Strong Microsoft Office abilities and prior MRP/ERP system experience are preferred, as is SAP experience
- Preferably trained and experienced in lean manufacturing, ISO 9001-2015, Six Sigma, 5S, and TQM
- Significant experience in the polymer compounding sector in a quality management function, or a bachelor's degree in chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering, is necessary
